Power Steering
Scheduled Maintenance
WHAT IS IT
The process of exchanging old power steering fluid within your power steering system with new fluid using specialized equipment.
WHY DO IT
It is important to ensure that the fluid has maintained its hydraulic and lubricating properties to effectively control and steer your vehicle. Over time, the seals, O-rings and internal power-steering components will wear out. When they break apart, they contaminate the power steering fluid, which forces the power steering pump to work harder and eventually break down.
WHEN TO DO IT
Every 60, 000 km.
