Master Mechanic Cambridge Supports The Heart & Stroke Foundation

Supporting the Cambridge Community

As a big part of the Cambridge community, Master Mechanic helps commuters and neighbours get back onto the road safely. When they’re not performing repairs, the mechanics at Master Mechanic Cambridge are always looking for ways to give back to their community.

Last summer, Dave Brough volunteered at Relay For Life to help set up tents, do some heavy lifting, and bring coffees to the many heart disease and stroke survivors This weekend Dave and his team are donating $100 to the Heart & Stroke Ride for Heart in support of Nicole, a loyal customer.

She will be cycling for the first time, alongside 15,000 other riders down the Don Valley Parkway to raise fund for research and awareness.  Although it was a small token of our appreciation, we’re overwhelmed Nicole is able to fulfil her goal and be a part of this great cause.

Did you know every 7 minutes, heart disease or stroke takes a Canadian life? The Becel Heart & Stroke Ride for Heart is focused on raising money to continue critical research that will help survivors and their families. This event is both extraordinary for those participating; it’s a great way to improve your health and raise money for future research for those affected by the disease.
